Bella – beautiful girl – is the latest girls’ magazine for 13 to 19 year olds. It was launched in Australia early 2009. Bella aims to provide young women with an alternative to the sexed-up modern day magazines.
Bella encourages young women to be who they are – not what mainstream media wants them to be.
Bella is a non-profit magazine that will be a catalyst for a cultural revolution, to reverse the tide of self-damaging attitudes and trends imposed upon our young women.

Hi Gemstone5! At Bella we don’t discriminate against any body shape because we believe in the true value and beauty of young women. When choosing people for our photoshoots, we look for “models” that love to have fun and know they are beautiful and valued, no matter what size… and many are our Bella readers! I really enjoy your magazines they are great my school P ‘n’ F shop even sells them and encourages girls to read your magazine. Anyway I was wondering if you guys would have a job available for a 13 year old girl. I do magazine commitie at my school I love english and really enjoy writing and when I grow up I want to work in a magazine or become a journalist. I am really creative , I love to travel and go camping and I would bring a smile to the workspace I know you can’t give me a writing job or anything but my mum has decided that she would not let me work for my dad for money or her and she would not like me to get a job but I want to and so does my dad please reply soon and I there is nothing you can do I am fine with that thank you!!!

I really love how Bella doesn’t have all the demeaning stuff about celebrities and gossip like other teen girls’ magazines. And as soon as I saw all the pages with beautiful quotes on them, I typed them down on my iPhone so I can post them on my Tumblr later!

My name’s freya, im 15 and I did modelling in the most recent magazine. I know the Ladies who run the magazine, so perhaps its through connections, but as far as I know there’s no restrictions as to how old you need to be. 
Great mission. As a youth pastor and father of a 12 year old daughter I applaud your vision and hard work to see it to reality. I have been working with young men and women for over 20 years and I still need all the help I can get to raise my daughter. I am in the process of writing a devotional for teenage girls and someone recommended i look at your magazine.
