Leaving school? The relief, excitement and freedom can sometimes be replaced with… what am I going to do now? For some the “gap year” has more meaning than taking a break from the well known routine of school life. It can mean the year of discovering who they dream about becoming in their future!

In her home town of Toowoomba, Dannah along with of her team of helpers is opening up a new home called The Gap. A residential program aimed at developing the beliefs, values and essential life skills that young women need to succeed in the 21st century.
“We really wanted to do more for our young women. We want them to gain skills and become strong, capable women within their community” Dannah says.
